Misty the Giant British rabbit died yesterday, aged about 6.
- lying in his run at the end of a birthday BBQ – the music system playing Korn very loudly
- took him out and everyone came to see him, sit with him
- took him to vets with my wife
- vet handled him – Misty was very upset, crying, mewing through his whiskered mouth
- vet injected him with OD of anaesthetic, twice
- brought him home for burial
- dug hole
- my son held the head then let it go at last minute
- ears covered in dirt
- my son scooped soil in, covered him over
